Title: The Sun's Team News
Post by: lambourn red on Saturday, August 9, 2008, 09:15:51
"Swindon will miss Kevin Amankwah so defenders Jerel Ifil and new boy Yinka Casal will pair up in the Centre"

Why do they bother even covering Leagues 1 and 2

Following on from this. Brez  gets in as keeper in NOTW team of the day despite only making 2 saves (also in McNamee in midfield).

"Report" says McNamee destroyed Tranmere and his cross for Paynter opened the scoring.

Why do they bother.

Did those things not happen then?

I haven't seen the write-up but I think The Sun get their reports from the Press Association, rather than send someone to cover the game?

Some Sunday papers don't even cover league 1 so it's better than nothing.

It was either Timlin Or McGovern's cross. Easy to mistake a short black man for a significantly taller white man.

I guess I am narked that as we get about 20 words, they could at least get them right.

'Twas JPM's cross for Paynters goal.

twas a fucking peach of a cross too! 3 trannie defenders and a keeper in the mix, but managed to pick out paynter.
