Feeling very confident mate. We have a good team playing some good football. McNamee can tear any defence apart on his day so watch out for him. Frontmen are looking good as are our centre back pairing. Home advantage will see us win i think. Should be a decent crowd with 5,000 season tickets (maybe more by then) sold.

Only saw Gareth Edds play once in pre season and he scored two decent goals too.
We played Blackpool yesterday in a friendly but he was out injured.

We have made quite a few very good signings over the summer including Charlie Barnett from Liverpool on a free transfer. He's a 19 year old midfielder and had an outstanding game yesterday and capped off a great performance with a goal and it was one of the best goals iv seen at Prenton Park in a long time.

We also have Godwin Antwi , a right back on loan from Liverpool but to be honest i havent seen him play yet .
You will hopefully be the first team to see Bas Savage do the moonwalk in a Tranmere shirt.

Should be a great game and im really looking forward to it.

What is parking like around the ground ?

 Savage played for Millwall last game of season....if he plays for Tranny, that will be consecutive games at the CG fro 2 different clubs....uncommon I'd imagine.

Tranmere won't struggle. Not sure where they'll finish though. Could be anywhere between 16th and 1st. They are one of them sort of teams.

Parking wise, you can park in the ground for a fiver....

i havent really got any knowledge to back up this claim. but you've sold that bloke to crewe and bought in bas savage to replace him which is a step backwards. added your off field problems and ronnie moore being abit overated

Zola has gone to Crewe , yes but he was about as much use as a glass hammer anyway so he wont be missed.

Are you going to bring a few down? Between us there is a fair bit of history, but neither team seems to take many to the other. Usually because you stage games on friday nights. Have you got the bank or the Arkells?

I think our midfield is going to be a bit smart with the likes of Jenno and Barnett pulling the strings so I would watch out for those two and up front our youngster Curran is bang on form.

Literally am counting the days and I reckon we will bring a good 600/700 down which is half decent as we are not very good travellers.

Dont go in the County Hotel near the ground,,,theres an irish pub on Manchester Road near the ground you may get in if early,if not go to the Bulldog its the usual place for away fans....about 10 minwalk from the ground.
