Title: Hungarian Grand prix
Post by: Luci on Sunday, August 3, 2008, 11:05:19
And he gets pole again............

Lets hope he can get three in a row - last British driver to do that was Damon Hill I think!

Damon Hill is correct ...
Would be great if he wins again today, looking out for Piquet as well, would love to see him stuff his team mate Alonso again.

Would defo like to see Piquet do well.  Glocks been doing well too.

I sooo want to win that competition for the Monza weekend, although it would involve missing us play Leeds Utd at home :D

Massa's good start has made this a bit interesting, roll on the first pit stops.

hopefully that extra couple of laps worth will pay off if he can keep right up behind him.

Escape for Hamilton in the end then, only lost 2 points to Raikkinen. Feel sorry for Massa, the race was his, couldn't see Hamilton beating him on the 2nd pit stop before the puncture happened.

Yep, good drive by Massa. Great drive by the Ferrari engine :)

Good bad day at the office for Hamilton. Finishes fifth, leads the WDC by 1 more point than this morning.

Couldn't see Lewis winning today unless the Ferrari was a dog on the options. And they didn't seem to be. Shows how the 'dominant team' can flip flop between McLaren and Ferrari almost race to race.

Ones with no treads?

Not quite! Just bridgestone, thats all I know, however Im thinking they might be bordering on illegal so some new ones might be on the agenda!

That race got a bit exciting towards the end!
Hungary was never going to provide an hour and a half of entertaining racing, but the incidents certainly made it interesting. Gutted for Massa but can't help being happy that it worked out nicely for Hamilton!
