Title: Betting Help Post by: Luci on Saturday, August 2, 2008, 09:55:07 Ive just registered with William Hill to put a bet on E/w and it says I get a free £10 matched bet (obviously I know I need to put £10 on to get this)
I want to put an each way bet on (£20 total stake) but it wont let me use the free bet as the other half of the e/w. Its says The free bet cannot be used to place bet(s) on the same market(s) or event(s) as your qualifying bet(s). Does that mean I can't do it? Title: Re: Betting Help Post by: Nemo on Saturday, August 2, 2008, 09:57:12 You can't use it for that or another top scorer bet, I think.
Whack on on Cheltenham getting relegated. Title: Re: Betting Help Post by: Luci on Saturday, August 2, 2008, 10:01:43 cheers, it doesnt send me an email confirmation of my bet - should it?
not bad on 50/1 odds Title: Re: Betting Help Post by: michael on Saturday, August 2, 2008, 10:03:26 Just doing some bets myself funnily enough.
For every bet I am placing I am making it a "double" by including Hull to get relegated. I may need to fill in one of those self exclusion forms soon. Title: Re: Betting Help Post by: Nemo on Saturday, August 2, 2008, 10:04:28 I don't know about Will Hill (I use Betfair) but I don't get email confirmations, but you should have an account page which lists your current bets.
Title: Re: Betting Help Post by: Simon Pieman on Saturday, August 2, 2008, 10:06:32 You should read the T&Cs as they're are often loads of rules with these. I have looked at Will Hill and ou can't use it on the same event, also you can only use it on singles and not mix and match bets. Hope that helps.

Does that mean I can't do it? yep in short you cant do this. you'll have to place it on a single of some sort and you'll probably find that you have to put it on a bet with odds greater than evens. stops people from signing up, betting on united to win, and on united not to win to meet the wagering requirement, then withdrawing their free bet risk free. |
