Title: Bangkok Red is a very proud man!!! Post by: BANGKOK RED on Friday, May 6, 2005, 12:22:07 On the news earlier today, they said that some poor kid is real sick in hospital and desperatley needs a blood transfusion, the problem being that the kid has a very rare blood type and they were begging for donors. Well, as it turns out my wife also has this very rare blood type and without hesitation she ordered a taxi to the nearest hospital. She gave her blood willingly and then heard that she is only 1 of 2 donors found in the entire country, the parents of the sick child also offered her 5,000 baht cash (alot of money to the average Thai), which she refused because she only wanted to help. We are now gonna be stuck to the tv/radio to find out if the kid survives.
My wife is not yet back from the hospital, but when she does I shall be treating her like the princess that she is, her actions today could well have saved the life of a young child............................
