 But so grateful were the proletariat, that they renamed Zlin, Gottwaldov when he died a mere 5 days after attending Stalin's funeral.

 It was changed back to Zlin in 1990...

The players have had their fun against big names like Steaua and Fenerbahce - I'd guess this is the result of 3 tough work-outs in a short space of time at the start of pre-season.

I had a feeling we'd lose this, after two pretty good results.

And with MM playing Oduro, Allen and Joyce and a not fully fit Hasney, it seems that he was more concerned with getting players 90 minutes behind them rather than picking a side to win the game.

More to do with no Brez,Ifil,Easton,Cox the spine of the team.Keep these 4 injury free and we will win more than we loose, unfortunately Smith,Aljofree,Allen,Joyce are not of the same standard

Ol' Brez got the friendly fixture equivilant of a sending-off did he not? Smith replaced him at 0-0... Not that it makes much difference, Brezovan was very much at fault for Steaua's leveller the other night.
