Don't think any TEF'ers have gone on tour this year have they???  Would have been good though.

i'LL Prob go on the tour next sesaon, not that that makes any diff to this season.

Good run-out this - we're quite lucky. Looking at the line-up, Steaua have a few internationals in there - the Polish lad was at Euro 2008 too.

That's not a bad start. Let's not forget none of the first choice back 4 or goalkeeper played (assuming Brez will be first choice this season).

Considering he only met the team yesterday afternoon, that's not really surprising. Be more interested how he does in the two games we have left out there, after he's had some training with the squad.

I know its only a friendly, means fuck all, etc. But drawing against them make me proud!

Byrne sets the team up for the first half and we do well. Malpas talks to the team at half time and we fall apart. 2-0 up and we fucked it up.

On a more serious note I dont suppose results really matter at this stage, however - we seem to be having alot of good first half not so good second halfs under Malpas. I wonder why

Well, in fairness - Steaua Bucharest are the most popular team in Romania and I'd hardly think there would be enough demand on Radio Swindon!

I was very disappointed when the commentary wasn't on thank you!  :D  They've spent all week bigging up the fact that Ed Hadwin was going on tour with them!

The Own Goal is a classic "No Danger" no moment. Cox still did well to pounce, but Bogdan Stancu's goal was pretty darn good - just looking it up, he's just joined them from Unirea Urziceni and has a decent Romania U-21 record. I'm sure their fans will be getting excited about his future.

Is it me or when Cox scores does a solitary fan behind the goal run up to heckle the keeper (57/58 seconds in)

I like the lone shout of 'come on you reds' after the first goal.

Just watched the highlights, good first touch from Cox to take his goal.

don't think he realised the keeper was quite so close when he took his second touch.

What was Brez doing for the equaliser?

He really looked caught out,embarassing to see him sitting down and bewildered

There was a bloke wearing a Steuea Bucharest top at my local station when I got home on Friday evening.  I was about to give it the 'Who the **** are Steuea Bucharest?!', in front of a packed platform of commuters, when he shot through the barriers before I could get to him.

True story.  (Well, the bit about the bloke in the top was.)
