Title: Re: Did anybody see the "The Man with 20 Kids" on BBC last night Post by: lambourn red on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 16:27:25 Again though, i wouldnt say its as common as the media make out to be. Six million Britons are living in homes where no one has a job and "benefits are a way of life" and they cost the taxpayer nearly £13billion a year in state handouts. If they all got a job we would not need all the poles to do the meanial jobs but no it is easier to go down the post office every week and get their pay cheque and then go home and scoff themselves on junk food while watching jeremy kyle on their flat screen TV's. It makes me mad >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(Title: Re: Did anybody see the "The Man with 20 Kids" on BBC last night Post by: Arriba on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 16:35:16 some people are worthy of recieving state handouts, others are not.
it is the balance which is all wrong, as people can breed like rabbits, and have the bill fitted by the british tax payer. when other genuine cases of carers of disabled people, etc struggle to get anything. Title: Re: Did anybody see the "The Man with 20 Kids" on BBC last night Post by: jayohaitchenn on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 08:13:03 Says here that there are less than a million people on job-seekers.
Quote Labour Market Statistics June 11 2008 - The unemployment rate rose to 5.3% - up 0.1% over the quarter and down 0.2% on last year. 29.55 million people were in work in the period February to April according to the labour force survey (LFS). This remains the highest on record, up by 76,000 on the quarter, and up by 446,000 on the last year. The working age employment rate is 74.9% - unchanged on the last quarter and up 0.5% on the last year. ILO-defined unemployment in February to April was 1.64 million (5.3%) - up by 38,000 unemployed on the quarter but down 34,000 from this time last year. The claimant count for key out-of-work benefits was 819,000 in May - up by 9,000 on the previous month but down 58,100 on last year. Earnings growth over the year to April (including bonuses) was 3.8%, down 0.2% on the previous month. Stephen Timms, Minister for Employment and Welfare Reform said: "A decade ago the challenge we faced was high unemployment. Today, with record numbers in employment, the task we face is to make sure people have the right skills and other support to move into and progress in work. We know that work is the best route out of poverty, and our welfare reforms are designed to help everyone who can work to get back to work. "Today's figures show that employment is still rising and there are plenty of jobs available for people looking for work. We are determined to build upon this and to continue to help more people get back into work and provide financial security for themselves and their families." http://www.hrmguide.co.uk/jobmarket/unemployment.htm Title: Re: Did anybody see the "The Man with 20 Kids" on BBC last night Post by: lambourn red on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 10:02:32 This is where new labour have pulled the wool over peoples eyes because people on disability are not included in these figures. Now there are always going to be genuine cases but there are an awfull lot that know how to play the game like the scrot that was on the programme the other night. The 6 million figure will include kids etc as it said "6 million will live in a property where no one is working", in fact it is worst 5 out of 6 of those households no one is actively searching for work.

I'm not sure why people get so worked up? Is it becuase his life seems to consist of drinking, sex and sitting about? Sounds alright to me! Title: Re: Did anybody see the "The Man with 20 Kids" on BBC last night Post by: Colin Todd on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 12:58:15 People get worked up because we pay for it. And taxes on ordinary working folk have reached massive levels.
If he was minted and supported himself and family I'd have nothing but envy for his lifestyle. As it is the taxpayer picks up the bill because hes a lazy alcky irresponsibe cunt of the higest order. with 4 drink driving convictions. Fuck me I hate this man. I bit hard there didnt I? :) Title: Re: Did anybody see the "The Man with 20 Kids" on BBC last night Post by: yeo on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 13:06:30 Were all entitled to the same benefits. If you think his lifes so great why not get Mrs Todd up the duff 20 times and live his life style.

Title: Re: Did anybody see the "The Man with 20 Kids" on BBC last night Post by: lambourn red on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 13:53:48 yeah and I expect those 20 kids will end up growing up to be scabby dole dossers like him if that is the sort of upbringing they are having and he is the person they are looking up to Correct and so the problem escalates because they will have lots of kids each as well and they will turn out the same as the grandfather. We have been too soft for too long and now we are paying the price with gangs of lawless teenagers roaming around at night with absolutely no respect for their elders. Title: Re: Did anybody see the "The Man with 20 Kids" on BBC last night Post by: Colin Todd on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 13:59:29 Were all entitled to the same benefits. If you think his lifes so great why not get Mrs Todd up the duff 20 times and live his life style. Well thats the point. The system is badly flawed and encourages irresposible behavior and the people who can least afford it to breed the most. He's now in prison following his 4th (4th!) drink driving conviction. The twat. At by envying his lifestyle, it was the drinking and doing nothing part I liked. But I dont have 20 kids to look after. I'm not living in squalor in an acloholic stupor whilst my 20 kids run riot round the local estates.
