Title: Swindon V Millwall. Post by: Luci on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 17:43:36 Thats totally ridiculous. Rovers fan behaved far worse as did other fans although I can't think off the top of my head. Millwall fans seemed fine to me.
I can understand they think trains run less frequently on a Sunday etc. but for gods sake they're coming from London so won't make any difference! Hope they can all get group savers and bring more  Title: Swindon V Millwall. Post by: lebowski on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 17:45:09 I know a Millwall fan and he reckons they are signing Adi Akinbiyi.
Where are they getting all this money from? Title: Swindon V Millwall. Where are they getting all this money from? thats one of those 'lets make a rumour and see how fan it will go' rumours. Like Tails and the Rickie Lambert one from a few seasons back. Title: Swindon V Millwall. Post by: leefer on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 19:35:40 Treble tine sundays for the police....as for Akinbye wouldnt surprise me,big wages on Parkin and others and they will be up there next season i think.
Title: Swindon V Millwall. Post by: Spencer_White on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 20:22:40 Why would the police rather work sundays than have an early kick off?
Another bizarre decision. Title: Swindon V Millwall. Post by: leefer on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 20:27:58 As i said Spencer....Treble Time.

Title: Swindon V Millwall. Post by: Arriba on Thursday, July 3, 2008, 11:30:01 dont see how this will stop trouble if there is any?

Title: Swindon V Millwall. Post by: Batch on Thursday, July 3, 2008, 11:55:33 Watkins said it was due to police resourcing issue. I guess this means there could be an event on elsewhere on Saturday rather than the need for increased police presence to stop trouble.
Title: Swindon V Millwall. Post by: lebowski on Thursday, July 3, 2008, 17:09:49 I believe it clashes with the Wroughton Carnival, hence the change of date.
