Although he was dressed as spider man at the time so I'm not sure about the technicalities.

He's 65. I imagine it's a sort of semi-retirement position.

Brilliant...loyal and was a superb player who chose to stay with the town when bigger clubs wanted him.

Not so sure about that...but he was and probably still is naturally very fit, hence the longevity.

Undoubtedly McMahon's worst act as manager....although I've had to argue long and hard with others involved in local youth football that Trolley's old school methods are  needed, not your trendy modern theories.

Last night prompted by the rage for digging up old threads, I stumbled upon the Yeovil /Mex banning saga.....fuck me it was only 8 months ago.

The current Board have brought us a long way since then....had men of the calibre of Trollope still been around teh club in the dark days, I'm sure a lot of the hatred could have been avoided.

 Thank you Mr Fiton.

It was always said that it just wasn't right without former-Town players working behind the scenes. It's great to have John Trollope back where he belongs and doing a job he's very good at. It's win win.

Damn right.  Selling Fjortoft was the moment we were down, expecting Thorne do carry the goalscoring on his own at that age was crazy.

Anybody remember Mr. T sliding into and upending Billy Bremner shown during the opening credits of Match of the Day.
