Title: Mohamed Post by: my-velocity on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 12:50:48 He was good, never got the chance to impress i don't think. Good luck to him anyway.
Title: Mohamed Post by: janaage on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 12:52:43 I would agree Mr V, never got the opportunity to play up front, he is not a winger.
Title: Mohamed Post by: Arriba on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 13:20:38 he was shit.
Title: Mohamed Post by: herthab on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 13:55:33 Quote from: "arriba" he was shit. Good, constructive critique as always............ May have turned out great, didn't really see enough of him in his favoured position to make an informed opinion (Don't let that stop you, arriba). Good luck to him. Title: Mohamed Post by: Bogus Dave on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 19:24:07 He looked good in patches, second half against yeovil in particular. Ah well, good luck to hoim

Good luck to him anyway. the fact that he's just signed for forest green suggests he really wasnt all that good. If he was still here he'd be our 5/6th choice striker, and thats behind some far from fantastc players and a cripple Title: Mohamed Post by: STFC_Gazzza on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 20:36:08 Quote from: "my-velocity" He was good, never got the chance to impress i don't think. Title: Mohamed Post by: suttonred on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 20:41:37 I only saw arrietta twice for a few mins, and he sort of was, a bit Royce Brownlie in my eyes, i.e. lots of huff and puff and not much else.
Title: Mohamed Post by: lebowski on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 20:43:06 Royce Brownlie, Ibon Arrieta, Fola Onibuje... we have had some absolutely dreadful players over the past couple of years no?

Dreadful, maybe but funnily enough they all scored one brilliant goal Title: Mohamed Post by: DV on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 23:53:57 Which brilliant goal did Fola score then :?
Title: Mohamed Post by: Samdy Gray on Thursday, July 3, 2008, 07:03:36 He only scored two, neither of which I remember. Notts County away and Shrewsbury away.
Title: Mohamed Post by: Bogus Dave on Thursday, July 3, 2008, 10:40:41 shrewsbury was a tap in, notts count was a good finish past the keeper but i wouldnt call it a brilliant goal

Good luck to him. sorry herthab but i thought the three words i used summed him up.and it was my opinion on him.(one i think many people share) i saw one flash of something from him against forest green rovers coincidently.and the rest of the times i saw him play he was out of his depth. as for playing up front it was blatanly obvious he was way down the pecking order. what do you want me to say?he was ace and should have played more games? he wasn't and rightly was released. The reason he didnt get more chances up front is because the management could see that we had 4/5 better strikers in training. Otherwise it stands to reason that they would have picked him more. That and when he did get the odd sub apperance on the wing he did very little. Case closed. Non league player. Title: Mohamed Post by: adje on Thursday, July 3, 2008, 15:37:29 I thought the Notts county goal was brilliant-tight angle little dink over the keeper-class,which unfortunately we never saw again!
Title: Mohamed Post by: Bogus Dave on Thursday, July 3, 2008, 15:38:45 Good finish, is hardly up there with brownlies though
Title: Mohamed Post by: Spencer_White on Thursday, July 3, 2008, 16:24:34 Brownlie against Barnet was one of the best strikes Ive ever seen at the CG.
If you were going to have a signed on a free shit strikers competition, then Brownlie would have been pick of the bunch. Title: Mohamed Post by: DV on Thursday, July 3, 2008, 16:30:45 Lets not forget the likes of Llyod Opara and Eric Sabin.

Title: Re: Mohamed Post by: alanmayes on Monday, July 7, 2008, 11:58:10 Good luck to Kaid,he's only young, probably found his correct level, after all he went on
loan to Torquay last season. My understanding is, that they played him on the wing rather than upfront and he did quite well there. |
