Think you've missed "cheese" Sussex

I'd subsitute Gammom and cheese for cheese and tomato, and BLT for cheese and pickle.

Tuna mayo and cheese needs to be in 'melt' mode for me

Isn't Gammon the same as ham pretty much? Just thicker sliced? Did you like the hot dog sausage sandwich I made you today?  The dog licked her bum then licked your sausages  :P

The mother of all sandwiches is Chicken, Bacon, Avocado and Garlic mayo.  8)

It's all about chicken, bacon, avocado and red onion ciabatta

Cheese and tomato.
Grilled cheese.
Toasted sandwich with ham, tomato and french's mustard (Not French mustard)

Wholemeal is of course the best bread. Get yourself a freshly made tin loaf from the bakers and you can make a slice as fat as you want. Then put a liberal amount of Dairylea on it, both slices of course. Then some Marmite (enough to burn the roof of your mouth). Incidentally I spotted some Champagne Marmite in the supermarket the other day, but as I don't like Champagne I didn't go ahead with the purchase. Back to the sandwich... you are now ready to put the top and bottom together, get a sharp serated (sp?) knife out and cut it into triangles, then present the meal on a clean plate. Marmite and Dairylea sandwich: Done.

Or, substitute the Dairylea for peanut butter (Smooth is best)
And voila! a Marmite and peanut butter sandwich.

I agree that smooth is best but there is definitely a place for crunchy in any store cupboard.

Peanut butter on toast is something that I would urge you all to try.

Excellent :D  Especially if you spread some butter on first and then the peanut butter merges with it, becoming even smoother and buttery!

Also, remember to season to taste.

Freshly ground black pepper and sea salt will enhance the flavour of any dish.

And presentation is also key.

Maybe a sprig of parsley to garnish...

A wise man. I find Champagne amicable, but not mixed with Marmite.

I have a big jar of champange marmite - It doesnt taste the different to be honest

Yup same as!  Think it was on offer and I didnt realise it was different!  Doesnt taste much different for sure!

Sandwich wise:

Cheese and Pickle
Cajun chicken lettuce and mayo
Chicken Bacon and salad
Brie and Cranberry
Beef and Horseradish

(All on granary bread)

1- Egg Mayo
2-Grated Cheese & Cucumber  Roased
3-Roased vegetables & cream cheese.
4-Chicken & Sweetcorn in mayo
5-Chicken Salad minus tomato

All on wholemeal or tomato bread.

Granary definitely trumps boring wholemeal.

I went to the Glasshouse at lunch today and had a chicken and bacon club. It wasn't great. And I had to wait 40 minutes because "the kitchen have got a buffet on upstairs".  :-))(

I'm blaming Gary, he's got something to do with the Glasshouse doesn't he?

Yeah I think he runs the kitchen.
