But 75 quid to meet them in a tent next to the CG? Think I'll give it a miss........ Title: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, 17:37:58 Yes the word "Marquee" put me off slightly too
Title: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: Batch on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, 18:06:45 Quote from: "Jamiesfuturewife" Yes the word "Marquee" put me off slightly too And buffet too. Seriously, £75 is a bit too much for me to justify. But I guess it's aimed at corporate rather than us. Title: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, 18:08:55 I hate there use of the word sumptious too
just whilst we are picking it to pieces and that! :soapy tit wank: Title: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: herthab on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, 18:12:47 If a buffet was described as sumptious and didn't include sausages on sticks, cheese and pineapple on sticks and voleuvonts (sp) filled with cold Campbells condensed chicken and/or mushroom soup, I would be seriously pissed off..

A friend of mine used to write regularly to Michael Portillo (for he was her MP) to say that there were not enough things on sticks. Didn't ever get a response... :| Title: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: @MacPhlea on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 05:15:44 The only reason it's in a marquee is because they are refurbing all the corporate hospitality areas...
Title: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: janaage on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 08:05:06 About time too Triseros!! They exec lounges were looking a bit shabby to say the least.
As for this event great idea, but too expensive for me £75 for a pre season friendly means it's a no go. Title: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: Power to people on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 13:16:14 A Tad expensive which is a shame as I'm sure Micky Hazard will have some good stories to tell, as does Alan Mac whenever you hear him
Title: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 14:27:06 I heard Micky Hazard only has 9 toes.

I also didn't get wheretherealredsare's clever pun straight away, but that's brilliantly subtle. So it gets a salute of appreciation. Of course, it's neville's job to hand out pun kudos. Title: Re: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: alanmayes on Friday, July 11, 2008, 16:12:03 Micky always had plenty to say for himself and frequently annoyed refs and sometimes
Hoddle.I'm sure he'd have plenty of good anecdotes of his time at STFC and within football. I fully undestand having Alan Mac there, given his connections with both clubs. An evening with say Micky Hazard and Chalky White on another occasion, would be brilliant. I'm looking forward very much to seeing him again. One Micky Hazard, there's only one Micky Hazard.... I suspect our new owners are begining to realise what they are up against in trying to improve the Swindon Experience....the CG just isn't a place for prawn sandwich munchers. Title: Re: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: alanmayes on Saturday, July 19, 2008, 19:46:46 For those who attended the Q and A,it was an enjoyable occasion.I thought that both Alan and
Micky, gave a very good and entertaining insight into the questions that they were asked.Food wasn't bad either! Thanks guys Title: Re: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: yeo on Saturday, July 19, 2008, 19:50:14 For those who attended the Q and A,it was an enjoyable occasion.I thought that both Alan and Micky, gave a very good and entertaining insight into the questions that they were asked.Food wasn't bad either! Thanks guys was it well attended? Title: Re: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: alanmayes on Saturday, July 19, 2008, 20:13:35 was it well attended? I would think that there were about 50 or so people. It started with Shaun Hodgetts chatting to Micky and Alan and when he had to go to do the radio work, those in attendence could ask questions.Obviously, this was dominated by questions about the Macari,Ossie and Hoddle eras. Title: Re: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Saturday, July 19, 2008, 20:27:44 Was it generally well received? Are messrs McLoughlin and Hazard natural speakers would you say? Things like that will generally go down a storm but can be slightly embarassing if the speaker is A) not that great B) a bit pissed C) not pissed enough.
Title: Re: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: alanmayes on Saturday, July 19, 2008, 20:37:39 Was it generally well received? Are messrs McLoughlin and Hazard natural speakers would you say? Micky has always had plenty to say for himself (As refs would testify) :) Alan surprised me how good he was, because he gave real indepth analysis, with a touch of humour.I think his regular radio work has really polished his skills. They were both very good. Title: Re: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Sunday, July 20, 2008, 12:59:27 That's good to hear. Those types of events can be cringe-worthy if the speakers are a bit crap or of hardly anyone turns up. Sounds like that was not the case here.
Title: Re: Micky Hazard and Alan McLoughlin Post by: Power to people on Monday, July 21, 2008, 12:51:37 Perhaps and Evening With Hazard & Moncur in the future.....
