They had done 2916 by 11:30am today at the latest, though presumably earlier. They have been doing about 80-100 a day haven't they. I'd be surprised if it hasn't gone by 5pm

Maybe they should of said they would do this sort of thing beforehand.Its a good idea to keep people going down but I got one last week like lots of other people  because I want one, not that I may get one half price :evil:

I don't consider it a slap in the face at all, it's a quality idea by the board, and I don't begrudge the lucky person a cheap ticket at all.

You got yours for £229 (Hopefully) which is what you were willing to pay and is a good deal.

I agree with Ben, I think it's the typical English "I want something for nothing" attitude.

Completely disagree some people just like to moan for moanings sake we are all getting massive discount on last years prices so what if someone gets one half price as a promotional tool.  It has helped a noticeable increase in sales over the last 24 hours and will help all of us reach the £6k target that will keep all of our season tickets at a cheap price.  Nothing left to criticise boys, well done board keep up the great promotional work  8)

It's a small token from the club who are just trying to keep the profile of cheaper season tickets going. In that respect I think it's a good idea. It's hardly going to cause a mad rush to buy tickets for the chance of getting it half price.

You know what would have been fairer? If they had shared the saving across everyone who purchased a season ticket. This would amount to less than 5p in all probability. WOW!
