Jan Portvliet played in the 78 Dutch team that reached the WC final.....he's also coached the might Telstar Stomvogels, of Luc Nijholt fame. Zero experience in Britain would be the concern for me - Saints can dream of Total Football but I'd guess that it'll most likely go the way of Ramon Diaz.
