I'd have thought the priority was the Arkells stand - once they replace all the multi coloured mish mash of seats in there the ground will actually look a lot less tatty - in my opinion!

You've misunderstood, the players were going out on the lash not decorating.

The DR will look better with "Swindon" rather than STFC. It already looks better even with a half finished "w". I hope they replace the different coloured seats in the Arkells with red ones. And great to see the pitch being done. Good all round.

And of course when Swindon gets city status the football club can change name accordingly with the minimum of fuss.

At the fans forum it was mentioned we had contacted clubs about red and white seats... Not that we had actually got them yet. Although it would appear we have got some white ones now!

We should be able to replace some of the seats in the Arkells Stand as the white lettering will replace a lot of the original red seats

Swansea Town changed their name to Swansea City when city status was won.  All academic, though.  Swindon is well down the list for getting city status.

if it did we shouldnt be called Swindon City, just drop the town to Swindon FC.

It's simple.

The white seats were cheaper, so they're using them for S W I N D O N in the DRS. All the red ones taken out will be used in the Arkells.

The S is three seats wide while teh others are only 2. All should be three imo.

The letters aren't all the same number of seats high/wide, which in my pedantic view, makes it look shit.
