Forgetting they're welsh, I've changed my view on todays match.

I really hope Cardiff do it, so teams like us can dream that one day we'll be watched by millions around the world in the cup final.  One day my friends that could be us, and when it is I hope most neutrals support us!!!

So after years of crap I hope the Bluebirds pull it off today!!!

I don't think I could take the family going on and on about it if they one. They only seem to take an interest in the football team when they are doing well.

Equally I don't really like Pompey at all.

I think I'll just watch it and hope it's a decent match, but I'm a bit meh about the whole thing.

1st FA Cup final ever I have had no interest in watching.

As a preference I would hope that Pompey beat the taffs as I dont want the cup leaving England.

I'm still hoping Pompey win it.

I see what you're getting at Jan, but I think the fact that Cardiff are there at all is enough to show that our dreams are not pointless or beyond reality - so they don't have to win to make me any more convinced of it!

Oh, and they're Welsh!

I am happy that it's a final involving two teams away from Manchester, London or Merseyside - but like every year I have no preference as to who wins or loses.

Mixed feelings really - instinctively support the FL side on the one hand, on the other Cardiff shouldn't even be in the competition much less the final.

Happy with that. Put a tenner in Betfair a few months ago and been building it up with £2 bets here and there on horses and football. Took £50 back out yesterday and still got £70 to play with. (£40 on Pompey to win was a bit stupid, but they did, so woot woot).  :D

It wasn't that bad! Okay it wasn't the highest standard of football but it was entertaining, both teams had chances, and they both played like they actually wanted to win the game. I'd much rather that than the game last year which, quite frankly, was dire.

It wasn't the worst final by a long way. Aside from the liverpool - Wet sham final a few years back it was probably the best this century.

I agree it wasn't a classic that I'll want to buy on DVD, but you never really knew which way it would go and there were periods where each team looked to be getting on top. I thought it was alright!

I like pompey and happy for my mates that have supported them for years and had a fab day out yesterday.

Nice to see a different team in Europe anyway and I'm so bloody glad the taffs didn't get through.

I'm gald Pompey won too. The Taffs should not have had Land of my Fathers, they are ruled by the Queen and are playing in the English FA Cup final. People should be respectful of their overloards.

Plus, minority or no minority, some of their fans are complete and utter Wankers. Which may also be true of Pompey, but not seen any trouble by them at the CG.

Also, I went to uni in Swansea, which may explain most of all why I wanted them to lose.

But how loud was the tannoy?Runed it a bit when they lifted the cup and all i could hear was some poxy pop song.Seems to be the way with most grounds these days though,the powers that be are so scared fans aren't going to make any noise that the tannoy gets turned up to 11 and kills off any atmosphere there might have been :(

I was getting the tube from baker street to wembley in the morning and some cardiff fans where already getting stuck in soapy tit wank

 I lived in Portsmouth...well Southsea, for some years, and used to go to Fratton Park.

 When I lived elsewhere, I always would go and watch the local side rather than travel to watch the Town.

 Pompey were a modest second tier side during those early 70's years, before getting relegated eventually to the 4th Div.

  Although its quite good fun going as a neutral....I couldn't claim any real alleigance, although Pompey would be on my list of don't dislike too much clubs.
