There is a court case brought by the Met at the moment trying to charge London clubs for the police presence outside grounds. If it wins lower league football is just about finnished. What will we have next Police inside nightclubs instead of patrolling the streets outside. Thanks for the info Spencer, if they did win, then the costs could and probably would go on the ticket prices, not just killing Millwall but killing football at grass roots to all smaller football clubs. To me they are just trying to opt out of policing parts of society they dont like. If they cant afford 100 police at a football game they cant afford it. Will have to be 30 police. |
