Being bored and having nothing better to do, I decided to have a quick look on thisis to read some of the usual gobble.  I couldn't help but notice they have an "Ignore" button.  I presume this means you don't see posts from people you have put on your ignore list?  WTF is that all about - if I ignored all the people I thought had posted utter toolish bollox on thisis, there would be hardly any posts left for me to read.  Madness!

I know you can get an add-on patch thingy for phpbb forums which let you actually ignore posts by certain people. I've always thought it would end up making forums unreadable what with people replying to each other and stuff.

Unless it's what Dave says and just blocks them from PMing you.

Batch has got it - it comes up with a message "This user is on your ignore list. Do you want to read this post" or something similar.  Fucking hilarious I just ended up with a great big thread full of ignore messages  :D

I love the fact that the Tef is good enough to have intelligent (ahem :)) debate about stuff without the need to ignore everybody.

And the fact that everybody on here obviously loves and adores me and carefully reads my every post with joy and respect. All Hail Me.  8)

To be fair to Sonic, he did a top job when it was kicking off with the old board. They were getting pretty threatening about some of the stuff said on here.

how about people post on there to balance the site up a bit?
it quite rightly gets slated, but is an outlet for town fans to get there points across.

I think that this should be the official STFC message board.  Best by far.  Only problem is it could attract the mongoloids on thisis.  

I'd love to know who that red army idiot is who posts under every article on the adver site.  He needs a good smack  :)

How can anyone use thisis. The layouts awful

  Quite right....in fact I did still use it, up until the layout changed.  :old: change is bad folks.  Somehow the avatars add to the sense of mongdom...just embarrassing.

I used it until a couple of weeks after TEF was born! Now I just read comments under articles, and they are mongish enough!
