Title: Weekend football bets
Post by: Simon Pieman on Saturday, April 5, 2008, 10:53:03
What with the National and all, anyone got anything on?

I've got £100 on the Arse beating Liverpool, but I've also laid it off at Betfair (so I can get a free £100 bet at Boylesports).

Interestingly though, if that game finishes 1-1 I will be double quids in because my bet gets refunded at Boylesports, so I'm hoping for that.

Got a tenner on the Chelsea game as well, again matched against a lay - the last qualifying bet to get another £50 free.

Other than that I've not done any 'gambling' except for the National.

I did a £2 accumulator last night off the sections list in Laddies as I was waiting for the doggies to start running

Everton 4/9
Swansea 2/5
carlisle 4/9
N Forest 8/15
chesterfield 8/13
Villa 8/13
Newcastle 8/11
Portsmouth 4/5
Bury 10/11
Millwall 10/11

Minimum odds were 75/1 but lets just say I shan't be holding my breath. Having a good run on the racing at the moment though so can't complain

Blackburn v Spurs draw 9/4
Sheffield United 10/11
Brighton 8/15
Chesterfield 4/6
Celtic 2/7
Ross County 1/5

2 Euro pays about 50 back.

Sweet, that should be £96 profit plus another £100 free bet earned out of that transaction

 :D

Got the refund back yesterday so all was good.

Going to make £68 from a free bet on the Man Utd game today as well  :)
