FWIW I agree with the whole apathy thing - we're playing like shit, and I'd probably listen, but I can't, so any excitement over matchday is completely gone. It's more of a chore than anything now, and when I listen to Radio Wiltshire I enjoy the music more - and get a total sense of dread when they play that crowd sound effect to say there's a goal ... cos I know it'll be bad news.

I think its fair to write this one off straight away....nicking a point would be good.

    The only decent result I can recall on a Friday at Prenton Park was when we won 5-3 there in 68/69....we had a tidy side, with a watertight defence, it was the only occasion in the league we conceded 3 goals that season.  It was more or less impossible to find out the score, think I read it in Saturday's Telegraph.  Nice score....not sure we've had a 5-3 away win since.

I think my craving for stability still outweighs my disappointment at our performances under malpas. The more I look at it, the more I think we're looking to develop youth with a backbone bought in over the summer (or out of what we've got, depending on how we do, ahem). The more I think about this, the more I like the idea.

I've more than once had a go at Premiershit teams who appoint managers all over the place, it would seem a bit hypocritical for me not to give malpy a chance.

More than any signing (which is lucky because it's too late now), I'd like to see Malpas bring in his own assistant manager. Working with Mr. Shouty Dude, who wanted your job before you got it, can't exactly be an ideal situation.

a) Can't be bothered
b) Can't make it due to work
c) Are quite rightly pissed off with the way things are going

I wasn't expecting anything from last night's game as it was always going to be  tough fixture. I'm still not paicking as we have Jills, Vale and Millwall all to come. That's not to say everything is fine, but I'm pretty confident we'll pick up more than enough points by the end of the season.

It would be shocking if we didn't get them 4 points needed. I'm still worried though. I hope Carlisle win today to keep the gap the same.

not by much, I just did the BBC predictor and had us finishing 18th on 50 points...Gills about 6 behind...

a 1-1 draw away to Rovers I think left us 7 ahead with 6 left to play for...

We'll beat port vale, draw with millwall and get one point from somewhere else. Not brilliant, but enough to keep us up

we wont beat Port Vale and Millwall will have everything to play for on the last day so will beat us....
