I know people hate Malpas etc but fair play to him and the board I assume for sorting out pre-season now before no decent opposition are around to face in the summer.

It's great to see we are looking towards next season although I guess we don't know what division we will be in.

Atleast things seem structured. Previous years I think we had to fight to find a team who would play us as we left it too late, Admittedly the Sturrock friendly may have been in his contract to leave us....

I agree. I'm just worried as we still need to get another 4 points to stay up for certain.

I sat with the Arkells for the first time in a league game on Monday. Despite the whinging bastards around me it wasn't actually that bad, and I'm getting really pissed off with the town end at the moment... Quite tempted to make another move.

so we have some meaningless friendlys. and malpas has had a moan about not having time to train :shock:  :soapy tit wank:

...in the Arkells stand just above the tunnel, right in front of the exec's so every now and then you can shout things out to MM, any players in the exec, the board etc, Iffy as he walks down from the exec area to the bench, oh no you can;t do that anymore.

The town end is just as bad as the Arkells at the moment.

I'll be getting a student season ticket hopefully, so if the price difference isn't too much I may venture into the Don Rogers Stand for the view.

Shit atmosphere in our bigger games though, but I spose if Malpas is in charge there won't be any atmosphere in any stand anyway  :wink:

there loads of TEFers dotted about in the Don Rogers stand, be easy to find one of us.

You could even sit next to STFC Bart if you wanted to.

I think non Town Enders should fuck off and  make their own forun...something like the Arkell's Stand Forum.

The Town End is still the best by a street. You don't get the 13 year old happy clappy chavs trying to start songs and thinking they're hard when away fans are on the bank. You don't get the moaning oldies who have a go at everything the manager/players do. And the atmosphere is still the best. It's so dull in the Arkells. The view is good but for an extra £5 on matchday it simply isn't worth it.

I'm staying, never enjoy any other stand as much.

I sit just in front of him ... with Mex and the gang over to our far left .. there are loads of nice people in the DR Stand  :wink:
