Violent storm 11 with 'phenominal' seas forecast overnight. High spring tide @ about 6am so it's up at 4.30am to make sure the sandbags aren't needed - it's grim out west !! At first all seemed normal, the roof on my house was still attached, my car undamaged, it was until I saw my garden when the full scale of damage was plain for me to see. My grass collector (the bit you put on the back of your flymo) had been carried a full 10 yards, from the backdoor to the middle of my lawn. Amazing, as if by some superior force. I'll never forget this storm, never. I might take a picture of the devestation later and post it up here.
