Picked this little snippet from the Beeb website, as part of their build up to Barnsley v Chelski (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/7276231.stm):

Quote
Gareth Hall Wales right-back and Blues youth-team graduate who, during his time at Stamford Bridge, suggested in a match-day programme Q&A that Chelsea should run out to Road to Nowhere by Talking Heads. Later played for Sunderland and Swindon and finished his career with Havant and Waterlooville and now runs a plastering firm in London

Started off as a reasonable player when McMuck brought him in, but faded and put a bit of weight on towards the end.

But still ended up lighter than Gary Elkins...

From wikipedia:

In 1996, Elkins career took a turn for the worse as he was signed by Steve McMahon at Swindon Town. Signed for £100,000 by a club facing financial difficulties, the pressure was on Elkins to help inspire a promotion bid to the Premiership. As it was, he started only 19 games for the club, his form and fitness (in particular his weight) in doubt.
