Why is this funny btw? He was better than a lot of strikers we had, he generally tried and provided us with a fucking superb goal in the last minute that gave us 2 extra, vital, points last season.

Royce was ace. Bundling into the away end after that cracking finish across the keeper at Wycombe endeared him to me. Not to mention the Barnet goal.

It was weird because that cup game against carlisle he missed a couple of chances but had a really good game, I'm sure Sturrock said he liked what he saw then he was consigned to the reserves just like that. Fola never got a look in under Sturrock either did he?

Regardless of footballing ability (or lack of it whichever is your view) he's left that club without any apparent bitterness so I think laughing at him is a bit disgraceful.
