Will the Adver now please stop talking about our "play-off hopes" being "dented"? Consolidation this season, push on next. Title: Finally some sanity Post by: suttonred on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, 09:25:12 Well timed statement to diffuse all the whinging thats going on, all good leaders communicate so spot on timing
Title: Finally some sanity Post by: Colin Todd on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, 09:34:24 I hope this stops the whinging. Its doing my head in.
We do really need to beat Huddersfield tonight though, more for the sake of harmony at the club than the 3 points Title: Finally some sanity Post by: Bushey Boy on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, 09:36:14 Fitton out

Admin costs anyone? Interest on the wills loans should make up a significant part of that I would have thought? Going from the figures in the 2005-06 accounts. About £90K went in interest to Sir Seton. Fulfilling the CVA could be said to save the club £100K per year (i.e. that is £100K the club has had to find for the last 5 years but doesnt any more) Releasing Arrieta and chums probably saves a 6 figure sum per year too, though at a cost in the short term. I doubt we'll ever be told exactly where all of that money was going. Title: Finally some sanity Post by: JOHNNY REEVES on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, 11:27:17 could be the money saved on win bonuses.

Bear in mind that Sturrock was probably on a lot more than Malpas is and Summerfield & Blackley departed as well saving on their wages, and I suspect Byrne & Bodin were given a small pay rise to reflect their new roles. That is probably a big saving.
