Title: Brighton on the train Post by: reeves4england on Sunday, March 2, 2008, 23:42:00 Just a note to anybody planning to go on the train...on the 22nd March there seem to be no trains between Swindon and Reading - just a replacement bus service. This works fine for me as I'm setting off early to stop off in Central London but thought I'd let you all know
Oh and it also wont let me book a train ticket for it online Title: Brighton on the train Post by: flammableBen on Sunday, March 2, 2008, 23:55:30 Clearly instead of a bus service, they should have an army of trained unicyclist taxi chimps.

Title: Brighton on the train Post by: Luci on Monday, March 3, 2008, 08:18:40 I booked everything online a while back for this and it was fine.
Title: Brighton on the train Post by: McLovin on Monday, March 3, 2008, 12:43:22 Ours is 8.25 though isnt it?
Title: Brighton on the train Post by: Luci on Monday, March 3, 2008, 12:48:27 Yes but we think they may have put time back as the connecting train from reading will be cutting it fine otherwise!
Title: Brighton on the train Post by: reeves4england on Monday, March 3, 2008, 14:20:31 I've booked an early morning coach instead now. Will probably meet you all in Brighton at 12 or 12.30, almost certainly in a public house
Title: Brighton on the train Post by: STFCBird on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, 09:03:27 match tickets are on sale now to seaston ticket holders, who are allowed 2 per season ticket.
Title: Brighton on the train Post by: Luci on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, 11:54:56 Can someone who has a ST get one for Whits please as hes on holiday? He asked me but I don't have ST. He's v trustworthy, pleeeassseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Title: Brighton on the train Post by: reeves4england on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, 16:00:51 And for me if possible!!!
If somebody could get me one and I'll pay them back on the day that would be great! Title: Brighton on the train Post by: Samdy Gray on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, 16:36:34 I would get one for Whits and R4E but it's looking like I won't be going, don't think I can afford it :(
It's about £35 for the train and then another £25 for the match ticket. Plus beer and food is an expensive day out. Title: Brighton on the train Post by: reeves4england on Saturday, March 8, 2008, 12:05:36 ***BUMP***
Are people getting the train to Brighton and pubbing there? Or going to Preston Park (nearer the ground but probably less to do!) Also, a reminder that if anybody would be so kind as to get me a ticket I'll gladly pay them back on the day, or at Leyton Orient if you can get one before then! Title: Brighton on the train Post by: suttonred on Saturday, March 8, 2008, 12:20:12 bar the pub at withdean there's very little around the ground, you're best off going into town and getting the park and ride bus back to the ground,(5-10 mins) If i can get a ticket i'll probably drive as only 40 mins by road
