I have had enough with football every where I look the sport I love is being corroded by money and stupid people who have no idea what "football" is.

It seems that the new breed of fan is obssed with money. Money is the key to everything. An new arsenal fan told me the other day that he didn't mind if they lost the league becuase they were topping the money league? This so called fan was a classic example of a new fan. He had the shirt, scarf, bedcover knew every single players name but hadn't ever ben to see arsenal or anyother football live. Instead he watched them all on sky and thought that was an achivement! When I explained to him the time I did a 600 mile round trip to watch Plymouth v swindon he just looked bemused adn asked why???? These people are the reason you can no longer swear, drinking, fart move at football and why if you go with a group of mates and not where colours you get sectioned 60ed by 100 roit police with a helicopter hovering over head! I am not a hooligan i have no intention of hurting anyone i just want to watch my team, have a drink and mess about with my mates and not where a shirt.

Money and the stupid prawn sandwich gimps are changing football from a passion to entertaiment. I know that watching town play Bury on a tuesday night in december is not going to entertaining, good football will not be played. However sharing the experince of getting to the game getting pissed, catching a pint pot mid air to save you mate from being glassed is gonna be fun singing to support you team till you have a headache and feel sick gives you such a buzz that is why football is so good! leaving your mates at a service station is what makes football good, one of end of the bus trying to outsing the other end is what makes footabll good. Football is not made good by drums, bells, waving stupid flags, respecting national athems, leaving to adviod the trafffic! etc etc.

I intend therefore to turn up to leyton orinent smashed out of my face, will sing till my voice goes even if we are losing and I will do it with swindon in my heart and my mates by my side. Anyone want to join me?

All of us with Sky Sports subscriptions are in part responsible for the commercialisation of football. It's simple supply and demand economics driving up the prices.
