However I have seen many dire performances from STFC in my time, and have always accepted the fact that: We played, we where shite and we lost. Hoddle was in charge, so even under a glamorous Manager who wanted us to play flowing football there were games you'd rather have gouged your eyes out at than pay for the ticket.

Swindon 2 - 4 Derby...one cold and wet December day (1992, I think)...we were bloody awful that day. Thing was Hoddle had us playing some great stuff that season, and that was the exception rather than the rule. Malpas must ensure the same. Just pointing out that a few games is not a decent enough basis to make firm opinions on a Manager. iF we play like we are now for 30 games+ then there is a pattern. Ultimately, results wise there is little difference from the rest of the season right now.
