I have saved the link to this thread Uncle, and in the unlikely event that we make the playoffs then I shall throw it right back at you, and ask if you enjoyed those matches.

You went expecting a good match and you where dissapointed, shit happens.

If we played like Brazil would and won 10-0 would you be willing to pay more for your ticket today?????

It's football, it's sport. It happens so get over it.

With all fairness BR, you didn't have to watch that shower of shite today.

And there's absolutely fuck all chance we'll reach the play-offs now.

We're now nearer to the last relegation spot than the PO's.....so still plenty to play for.

Its a shame as after such a positive morning hearing from Jeremy Wray, then they go and lose 3 nil.

At least that might make the end of the season more exciting.

Fair point Surface to Air Missile,

And I do appreciate the fact that anyone who went today paid their hard earned to watch a shower of shite, after which I also would have been mightily pissed off.

However I have seen many dire performances from STFC in my time, and have always accepted the fact that: We played, we where shite and we lost.

In the early 90's we played Watford at home and I spent more time watching the Saturday league game on the extension pitch than I did the Swindon game.  Hoddle was in charge, so even under a glamorous Manager who wanted us to play flowing football there were games you'd rather have gouged your eyes out at than pay for the ticket.

Swindon 2 - 4 Derby...one cold and wet December day (1992, I think)...we were bloody awful that day.  Thing was Hoddle had us playing some great stuff that season, and that was the exception rather than the rule.  Malpas must ensure the same.

He did play Viveash at Sweeper IIRC.  Just pointing out that  a few games is not a decent enough basis to make firm opinions on a Manager.  iF we play like we are now for 30 games+ then there is a pattern.  Ultimately, results wise there is little difference from the rest of the season right now.
