Make your own paprika chips/wedges and serve with home made salsa dip (and salad if you're entertaining a lady).

Like small pieces of pasta. I love it. Two main sorts, at least that i know of and you'll see commonly: Moroccan (tiny) and Israeli (slightly larger).

Get a bag of it, pour some in a bowl, cover it in boiling water, with flavourings, in a bowl for about 3 minutes. Done.

I think the fine grained is based on semolina wheat, whereas the more coarse grained is based on bulgur wheat.

I prefer the coarse grained....good for making tabouleh.

Well, apart from the fact that it's made from wheat or semolina wheat, and not rice, yes.

Don't fry them in butter, get some garlic granules and put a shit load of olive oil in a pan, throw in the garlic for only a few seconds until it starts to brown, then fish the garlic out (as it will go sticky and brown quite quick), then your oil will taste of roasted garlic.

Bung in the potatoes and some fresh herbs when they're nearly done.

Or Goose fat. Healthy too.

Go with Crumpets with Processed Cheese Ash. The perfect accompaniment to any meal.

Dead right they won't be nice.  You could always lightly fry the potatoes instead of roasting them and can chuck in a bit of butter at the end -  when it foams up swirls the spuds in them and they'll taste great.  Tend to do this with new potatoes though
