Title: Interesting guests in the Exec Box last night.
Post by: broomfield on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, 12:01:36
I don't know if anyone else out there saw the guests with Jeremy Wray last night.

I always take a look around the Exec Box on match days to see whos around.

I'm into horse racing on a bit, and i recognised Brian Meehan and Guy Sangster sat in the Box and at half time they went down the stria case to the Board room.

For those unaware of these gentlemen.

Guy Sangster is from the Sangster horse racing family with interests throughout the world and with 250+ horses owned by the family.

Brian Meehan is his trainer and runs the Operation at Manton near Marlborough.

Family money comes from Guys late father Robert Sangster who set up Vernons pools.   ---   seriously minted!!!!!

Probably something to do with Andrew Black and his horse racing connections.

I do quite a bit of walking up around  Manton.....don't like the place bad vibes man...makes me think of Bond villainry.

Recall when Michael Dickinson went up there after switching codes, having trained the first five home in the Cheltnumb Gold Cup or something similar...he was shite as a flat trainer.

It has to be said though you can't beat a bit of downland gallops fescue, for an al fresco shag.  Up by Long Tom has a certain comic value.
