Title: Corr back(but what about Easton?) Post by: dell boy on Monday, February 11, 2008, 15:20:54 Quote from: "STFC Bart" If Easton is out tomorrow thats JP in the middle again then and nil points Play Pook and Peacock in the middle with Sturrock just in front of them linking with the two up front, three at the back and use Boob and JPM on the flanks. Sturrock could be a little gem playing in a forward midfield role instead of an out-and out striker which he is not. Title: Corr back(but what about Easton?) Post by: Power to people on Monday, February 11, 2008, 15:44:08 Hmm I wonder if we would go for a 3 pronged attack with Corr & Paynter either side of Cox with Sofi dropping to the bench
Could be risky if we play 3 up then it is possibly risky playing with Roberts & Sofi and they both prefer getting forward rather than defending so the defence would be exposed Title: Corr back(but what about Easton?) Whenever we play two up front they play so far apart there is just no linkage play, we need a player just behind them to link the midfield and strikers. Title: Corr back(but what about Easton?) Post by: Arriba on Monday, February 11, 2008, 16:04:34 i'd play pook and switch jp out wide.how many chances is the inaffective roberts going to get?
one good game in about 7ish aint good enough. the lad upfront looks a donkey too Title: Corr back(but what about Easton?) Post by: swindon-chap on Monday, February 11, 2008, 16:06:34 Eastons got the shits :D
Title: Corr back(but what about Easton?) Post by: fatbury on Monday, February 11, 2008, 16:06:38 be interesting to see who does play central .. i dont think JPM is the answer myself .. like to see 3 in centre but we dont have anyone other than Pook and Peacock for those spots really .. we desperately need someone in on loan if Easton is out for too much longer .. tho i hear he may be back for Forest ... calf muscle pull is the injury
Title: Corr back(but what about Easton?) Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, February 11, 2008, 18:10:41 What about trying Mcnamee on the right with Boob on the left? JPM isn't great in the centre but i don't think he is any worse than Pook. Pook likes to actually try and tackle unlike JPM but his passing is no way near as good.
