Title: Premier League Post by: red macca on Friday, February 8, 2008, 12:17:18 Hidden somewhere yesterday amongst them playing a game abroad was also the fact that next year they can now have 7 subs on the bench.
So looks like the lower club can be getting fucked over again. Dont think we would of cox for example if they were allowed 7 on the bench this year do you Title: Premier League Post by: Colin Todd on Friday, February 8, 2008, 12:52:07 I dont think it makes much difference.
All the european leagues allow 7, as do the european cometitions. It might allow a few youngsters to have more of a chance of getting a game if their team are winning convincingly In the case of Cox, I doubt it would have made any difference either. He'd be just as dis-illusioned sitting on the bench and not playing as he would have been playing for Reading reserves. Title: Premier League Post by: Power to people on Friday, February 8, 2008, 13:40:40 But I think the point is that premier will have bigger squads to handle 7 subs and they won't be releasing players on loan to lower league clubs as they will want them to sit on the bench
Title: Premier League Post by: sonic youth on Friday, February 8, 2008, 14:05:28 it's a great idea because when playing FM it gives you far more choice of subs.
i always like to have one keeper two fullbacks (pref. one who can play centreback too), one defensive midfielder, one winger, one attacking midfielder and one striker.
