Believe its Nike. Think they bought out Umbro.

the thing that gets me, is these days the kits arent personalised. They are the same bog standard design but with altered colours per team.

I'm sure it wasnt like that in early/mid 90s....

It looks good. I think it needs the number on the front though to stop it looking like a bog standard training top.

It reminds me a little of the famous Admiral kit that i love so much

It's fucking horrible and looks like an 80's cast-off.

Yep it was. Remember us and Tranmere having exactly the same goalkeepers kit and home kit design by Mizuno... That weird yellow/black/blue/red/green jigsaw one.

There's a website with a same kit section and there was loads from the 90's.

Pretty annoying, we had the same kit as Birmingham for about 3 years, and Millwall before that. Now it's Chesterfield  :?

Can I add my name to the list of likers please.

Admiral early 80s kit was boss, I had the home and away version (probably the Fleet St market version rather than the genuine article tho).

Maybe Sweden's home and away kits both clashed with our home kit?

Just a guess, but probably right I think.

Don't the Swiss play in red and white (H) or white and red (A) anyway?

I don't think there's much danger of clashing with Sweden  8)  8)

I dunno, probably written in some contract somewhere they England have to pay X amount of internationals in their away kit so it increases sales.

England should have played in white, Switzerland in Red....their colours!

It may have something to do with the match coinciding with the release of the red kit.  I thought traditionally, we only played in red at Wembley against the Boche.

I think they were trying to push pre-orders of the new strip, and as somebody said they probably have to play X% of games in red. They made a couple of announcements about the strip over the tannoy too.

Personally I think its crap

Ill be buying it when it comes out simply for the collection.

I went out with my mate Tuesday and the two pubs we went in which were both pretty busy I was the only one wearing an England shirt.

I think it's a bit shit, mostly because I don't really like badges in the middle. The World Cup star also looks a bit lost (although not as much as when they had it on the arm!).

I liked the fact that Capello sent them out numbered 1-11 though. More of that, please.

Really? I'd never noticed before. Which I suppose proves I'm actually not that fucked what numbers they use.

it is utter balls. if we do end up with a nike kit, furry muff, but i really dont like umbro kits, they make like 50% of the premiership teams' kits, and they look poo.
