Title: Theo Walcott
Post by: broomfield on Thursday, January 24, 2008, 12:23:05
According to at least one national paper and now reported on TV, Arsenal are prepared to let Theo Walcott out on loan to gain fitness and experience............

Any ideas??

He'll go to a Championship club. There's no way a kid with that talent would drop down to League One, even on loan.

They were actually talking about loaning him out to another Premiership Club. Forget the Championship.

As for League 1

he has been a disapointment for sure.but he is still to good than to have to drop down a division.he shows flashes of greatness but he does lack a bit of composure in front of goal.

Arsenal took a promising young English player and made him rubbish.

Should have stayed at Southampton.

I have heard whispers that Harry is going to take him to Pompey.

Thats from an insider at Pompey....but being an ex Saints player may cause problems.

Name one other premiership club who would have limited to him to few cup games and a couple of games as sub in the premiership a lad of his talent and future.
There is only one truly French side in the Premiership and they dont want any of that English crap playing.

Name one other premiership team that has as good a record as arsenals of producing good young players. If he's still not getting first team regular football next season or two years time then he shoud move, but not now.

Couldnt agree more about the young players they produce and Wenger is a fantastic manager but he doesn't help young English players to wear the shirt of Arsenal, for example Upson, Bentley, Jeffers all good players and dispensed for foreign imports.

Pennant is half decent but a total fucking reprobate. I'd have fucked him off if even if he had the skill of pele with his record of trouble making

He also wouldnt get anywhere near Arsenals 1st XI now. The only english player that the Arse have let go in recent years who would is Bentley
