In my time... Sam Parkin.

Although I think Steve Finney would be up there if he didn't break his leg at Burnley. He was ace :(

Jesus its impossible to choose 2!

Mayes and Rowland (as a partnership)

Parkin or Rideout and Fjortoft

Rideout was a true class act, I played against him at school many times when he was at Kingsdown, he was arrogant but brilliant, if he stayed any longer he would have been the best by miles.

God, this is a tough one.

Alan Mayes and Peter Eastoe.

With Jan the Man and Shearer close runners-up.

duncan shearer is my fav ever forward.partnering him i'd have fjortoft.
no mention of arthur horsfield?any of our older older posters have an opinion on him?

i have come to know him through work.we got talking one day and he asked how the town were doing.he then said "i used to play for them".i did some research and it turned out he scored some goals in our ventures overseas.he's a nice fella as it goes.

I loved Craig Maskell as a little 'un but I don't think he had 50 appearances.

For players I've seen, I'll have to say SSP and Jan.

Jan is the only one who could do it in the top flight on that basis i would go for him . Imagine him in league one he would be are all time top scorer
