who would win if... calzaghe fought mayweather jr at middleweight, tonight. i am going with joe. he is just as quick as mayweather, can take a punch, and hits twice as hard. sorry strood Title: fao strooood Post by: strooood on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:29:15 i can't agree with you there mate.
seeing our kid hatton taken apart like that by mayweather really confirmed he's the man. he's a proper technician, i think the only man who would get near to him in terms of lb 4 lb is manny pacquiao. calzaghe is nowhere near him in speed, you're right about him hitting twice as hard but so does hatton, and he just couldnt catch him. would be an interesting one for sure, but mayweather has slow mo vision and would spot calzaghe's punches before joe had even thought about throwing em. as long as joe beats hopkins, which he should do, then this fight will happen. Title: fao strooood Post by: red macca on Sunday, January 20, 2008, 13:21:07 Ageree with everything strood has said on here
