Indeed, a twat of the highest order.  Calderwood will surely fine him for getting booked without even coming onto the pitch!  What a fucking knob!!

I guess you could call it 'inciting the crowd' ?

Basically gave it the big one in front of the town end when Blair's shot got stuck in the mud on the line.

I was in the Kingswood,  near the Town End fantastic noise especially in the second half.
The only time you heard Forest for 60 minutes was when they scored, but that was short lived as not just the Town End but other sides of the ground came together and backed the team.
Forest fans probably couldnt work it out, they had just equalised and there are the Swindon fans applauding getting behind their side,
Great stuff us fans, especially those from the Town end.

quick question: how do you pronounce primark?

i always thought it was "pre-mark" but i am being told this is how northerners say it, and that i should be saying "pry-mark"?

this is my biggest worry at present. life is good.

Title: TownEnd
Post by: Whits on Sunday, January 20, 2008, 11:21:08

That would depend, would you call is mys-pronunciation or mes-pronunciation?

Title: TownEnd
Post by: herthab on Sunday, January 20, 2008, 11:26:13
The intellectual debate on here is too demanding for me: is it Pry-mark, is it Pree-mark?

My immediate thought is Pry- mark, but one shouldn't go on knee-jerk decisions. I need to think this one through and get back to you...............................

Calling Pri- Pre I believe started with Declan Curry of BBC, he was interviewed in Ireland talking about Premark (Pri-) and the chain of shops started in the emerald isles.
Anyway in Ireland the chain of shops are called PREMARK and not PRIMARK.
Does that answer your question!!!

Didn't get it from my Nan, but from an odd Mother of a stepfather of mine.
