Title: Stewards Post by: Summerof69 on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:19:41 They are being looked into via the 10-point plan :
7. The County Ground Stadium The Issue The County Ground stadium is in need of some attention but any investment in the current stadium to reflect the fact that in the next couple of years there maybe a ground re-development programme to consider. Action As part of the stadium upgrade programme the key areas of attention will be: (a) to unify the seating by replacing all of the non red or white seats (b) to review and upgrade some of the food kiosks & the food offering (c) where practical, to improve disabled access (d) to constantly review and improve ground stewarding (e) to invest in and nurture the playing surface (f) look to improve the players' fitness facilities i.e. the gym Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:25:17 I'm fucking sick of everytime I get back to my car, turn the engine on and sit in it, some fat fucking bint comes running over ''you can't go yet''
''I FUCKING KNOW YOU FAT SLAG I'M JUST WARMING UP AND LISTENING TO THE RADIO''. Rant over. Rant over. Yeah, but you're just needlessly adding to global warming....under the new regime the stewars have been instructed to have a greener outlook on their job. Title: Stewards Post by: Bushey Boy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:33:48 Have to agree with Reg, you need a long hard look at yourself Ralph, seriously getting a cab for one from the airport is taking the piss
Title: Stewards Post by: Sussex on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:35:57 Ralphy needs to take a long hard look at his carbon footprint. :(
Title: Stewards Post by: figgis on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:35:59 ive had that then some fucker just ignored em and drove off closely followed by a steward waving his arms in the air. probably the best tactic is ignore em and drive off its council property the car park.
Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:36:04 Ah fuck off. :D

Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:38:34 A van!
And i don't switch the engine off between drops! Let it belch out black, dirty diesel over the village green. Title: Stewards Post by: Arriba on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:48:37 why use the car park anyway?unless you are old, disabled or something i dont understand why people do?
Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:49:14 The logistics would be impossible i'm afraid Reg but I like your thinking.
I park up and then walk most of the round with a bag on my back. :D Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:49:51 Quote from: "arriba" why use the car park anyway?unless you are old, disabled or something i dont understand why people do? Um to park??? Title: Stewards Post by: Arriba on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:51:35 ok then i'll make it simpler for you ralphy.why pay to park at the ground when there are plenty of places to park for free?
Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:54:32 Cos I value my car and don't want to park on a street or at Tesco.
Title: Stewards Post by: Bushey Boy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 18:57:18 You should park at teh place I have on County Road, 4 spaces no clamping never had a problem in 5 years (touches wood)
Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 19:04:23 Well I didn't know that!
I don't live in Swindon so don't know where is safe. A fiver to park doesn't bother me anyhow. Title: Stewards Post by: Arnold.J.Rimmer on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 19:09:05 Quote from: "Ralphy" I don't live in Swindon so don't know where is safe. . It's not exactly Moss Side, park anywhere. Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 19:10:54 Um no.
Title: Stewards Post by: Sussex on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 19:21:18 Quote from: "Ralphy" Cos I value my car and don't want to park on a street or at Tesco. Merlin car park or residential roads opposite. It's only a short walk you lazy git. Title: Stewards Post by: sonic youth on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 21:24:07 shrivenham road, tesco car park, merlin car park, fire station - all free or cheap and you don't get kept in! it's not as if you drive a ferrari is it?
therefore, don't park at the ground and moan when you know full well what will happen. Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 21:44:27 I wasn't moaning about being kept it, read the thread.
And my comment about the women was a joke. Get off your high horse for once. Title: Stewards Post by: sonic youth on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 21:44:59 no, my view up here is great.
Title: Stewards Post by: wheretherealredsare on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 21:57:22 Take your horse to the Town End then, if you want a better view ...

Title: Stewards Post by: wheretherealredsare on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 22:03:34 So leave it in the car park and give Ralphy a ride home without waiting for the stewards to say you can go now.
Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 22:05:30 I reckon the horse would shit everywhere though....
Title: Stewards Post by: sonic youth on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 22:09:00 it'd be unfair to expect a horse to carry my weight over 20 miles, let alone pull a honda civic too
Title: Stewards Post by: JPC82 on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 22:09:52 Quote from: "wheretherealredsare" So leave it in the car park and give Ralphy a ride home without waiting for the stewards to say you can go now. that wont solve the problem though mate, if the horse is in the car park it wont be able to leave, same rules for horses as for cars im afraid. It has to be outside the car park but still close to the ground, some where like broad street. Title: Stewards Post by: sonic youth on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 22:11:09 but someone might steal my horse!
or vandalise him Title: Stewards Post by: Ralphy on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 22:12:28 How high is this horse exactly?
Title: Stewards Post by: JPC82 on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 22:13:15 Quote from: "sonic youth" but someone might steal my horse! or vandalise him not if u leave it in Busheys place where he parks, no trouble in 5years, keep the horse away from manchester road tho, by the end of the game those kebab shops will be serving him. Title: Stewards Post by: wheretherealredsare on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 22:13:37 Would we notice after all the shit we've had for the last 5 years? Be part of the Swindon experience ...
