Title: Why do emails bounce back on sky broadband Post by: Bushey Boy on Friday, January 18, 2008, 20:39:41 at my sisters babysitting, emails being rejected and settings are BT. Now on Sky should this effect my emails if im set up as outgoing being smtp.bt.com etc?

if so, many ISPs only allow access to the SMTP server if you're on their network. Its nothing major I realised I can save all emaisl to draft and send when I get home?
I guess this is a normal thing on different broadbands Title: Why do emails bounce back on sky broadband Post by: Batch on Friday, January 18, 2008, 21:59:31 Yes, as Sonic said if you are using a different ISP (Sky) for the physical connection then usually the outgoing server (BT) won't let you send email, but will let incoming messages in.
