Title: Our Cat Post by: oxford_fan on Thursday, January 17, 2008, 15:24:53 i go cat hunting often. but don't worry, i am only hunting to deliver strokes. now you don't have a cat make it your mission to cheer up the poor fellows who may not get enough strokes. since leaving our 3 cats behind in oxford i have found this to be an excellent way to supplement your lack of cat.
Title: Our Cat Post by: janaage on Thursday, January 17, 2008, 15:56:41 OF I think that's the best post you've ever written.
A very warm and loving post. Nice one. Cat hunting - to deliver strokes, like it. Title: Our Cat Post by: Bushey Boy on Thursday, January 17, 2008, 18:03:57 sorry to hear that fella, cats are a massive companion, hope your ok
Title: Our Cat Post by: BANGKOK RED on Thursday, January 17, 2008, 18:05:53 I balled my eye's out when my dog died last year, I still miss her.
Sorry for ya loss, it's never "Just" a cat/dog. Title: Our Cat Post by: Barry Scott on Thursday, January 17, 2008, 18:15:12 I agree, i stayed in or 2 weeks when i had to have my dog put down a couple of years ago. She died in my arms looking at me with her trusting eyes, made her final snorts then died. The death of an animal is a sickening thing to deal with.
She was 16, so had a good life, but cancer was starting to kill her. We had a few scares, and each time she fought back. In her final year she ate proper cooked human food. I also let my dog eat whatever she wanted for the final few days. Curry, Spag bol and lots of garlic everyday for my little lady, she was like a pig in shit! I feel for you STFC4LIFE. Condolences. Title: Our Cat Post by: Bushey Boy on Thursday, January 17, 2008, 18:17:25 Is it wrong my cat eats curry, drinks blackcurrent juice and eat a little white drug once? Hopefully these stories will make you remember good times Dean
Title: Our Cat Post by: STFC4LIFE on Thursday, January 17, 2008, 18:17:58 Cheers everyone.
He loved his Wotsits & Quavers 8) Title: Our Cat Post by: oxford_fan on Friday, January 18, 2008, 12:40:06 the best cat i've had, Gordon (as in the gopher), died on my 14th birthday. my parents hid his body for a couple of days. he was an ace hunter; used to bring back birds, moles, voles, mice, rats, rabbits. R.I.P. Gordy.
i wasn't particularly sad when he died, despite liking him alot. perhaps it will all pour out someday. Title: Our Cat Post by: Arriba on Friday, January 18, 2008, 14:26:50 after loosing our cat last year i've been thinking about getting another one or even a dog.
i'm just worried that by getting another pet and the grief and heartbreak that our cats death had on us as a family.plus all the commitment like holiday arrangements, picking up shit(in dogs cases)etc is putting me off at the moment. Title: Our Cat Post by: dell boy on Friday, January 18, 2008, 14:32:43 Quote from: "STFC4LIFE" Cheers everyone. He loved his Wotsits & Quavers 8) Quavers do go down well with my cat Harry. Really really sorry to hear STFC, 14 years old as well big chunk of your life, the 'mog' can never be replaced but you will always hold great memories. I lost my little black female cat (sister of Harry) a couple of months ago, no sign of her over the fields, no reports of a cat being knocked down, I've put posters up everything. I'm still looking for her hoping she will return. Title: Our Cat Post by: land_of_bo on Friday, January 18, 2008, 15:13:53 Sorry to hear that dude.
Get yourself to the rescue home and stroke some poor strays. I adopted a new cat after one of mine died last year, she is a proper nutter! Was born in the wild and lived in a pen at the Bath cats and dogs home for 14 months. She is scared of people but coming round. She spends all night running up and down the stairs. Poor cat, probably never ran in her life having lived in a pen for all of it!
