10 o'clock the electricity comes back on half 10 the electricty comes back on 7 o'clock today the electricity goes off again ffs, only just came on again now. We get on average a power cut every two months, fecking shocking surface On the flip side, it does make you realise just how much you depend on electricity nowadays. Striking miners and power station workers caused regular disruption of the power supply....Heath rightly thought it was a question of who ran the country called an election and lost. :D Power cuts were ace though....what could you do...get some candles on, invite a bird round, bottle of wine or two some :doobie: job was a good un. Eating cold beans and bread rolls. Quite enjoyed it in a way, blitz spirit and all that.
