Title: Sunday bloody Sunday
Post by: Dazzza on Sunday, January 6, 2008, 15:58:04
'Sunday Bloody Sunday'. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it?

You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!

I'm actually at work and bored witless but has anyone done anything interesting today to entertain me?

Yeah Dazza, I'm sure that's the inspiration behind the song.

Nothing to do with the civilians being killed by paras at a peace march in Belfast :D

Step 1: Buy a house  - Check.
Step 2: Went to look at stables to keep Birdys horse in this morning for when she moves down - Check.
Step 3: Birdy's looking for a job down here - Ongoing.

This is all your bloody fault Dazzza! Fucking forum.  :D

Got up, did/doing coursework and revision, resisted the urge to nab a new sofa on the last day of dfs' sale, will cook a pork caserole later for tea, then more work and preparing for work tomorrow (ie ironing my shirt), a truly mediocre sunday.

Just as well you resisted that urge to purchase at DFS, they'll be starting another sale next week!

You'd be pretty unlucky to buy anything at DFS when there isn't a sale on!

It's more the near three month wait for delivery that I was bothered about, there is a big risk that I'll have about a month in my new flat without anywhere to sit unless I sort it out, but as the slae hasn't gone thru I'm wary of ending up with a sofa and no flat to put it in!  Alas there'll be another sale soon.
