Yeah, tell me about it!  I've just moved back and there is fuck all about!!

Just to prove the limited opportunities there are in Swindon and people are applying for anything and everything, we've just had a CV for a candidate applying for a £6.50 an hour admin role. He's just got a first in Maths, Chemistry and Physics at Oxford University and is going on to do a Masters Degree.

Hope he doesn't get the job then Sam, unless you're trying to encourage a high turnover in staff for admin roles.

can you do a degree in maths and physics and chemistry ?  Not wishing to cast aspersions, but that sounds like bollocks to me.  Plus you know that if you go to Oxford Uni proper, graduate and prove to be a 'person of good nature' one year after you graduate they give you an MA for free, without you having to do anything except basically stay out of prison for a year.
