Title: My wedding
Post by: land_of_bo on Thursday, January 3, 2008, 17:01:19
For those of you interested, went rather well in good old Thailand.

Had a wicked 3 weeks and am now totally chilled, how long that will last I don't know though as the next 6 months at work are looking proper manic.

Here are a few photos of the beach ceremony.

Cheers
Bo.

Yes I know my suit looks silver, but it's just the flash reflecting off it.

It will serve me well in the future as fancy dress if I feel like going as Dr Evil though.

Oh, and no, I couldn't afford any shoes.

Is it legally binding to get married in Thailand....worth checking you might still be able to escape.

It is the way we did it. You get the paperwork translated and issue it to British Embassy so the marriage is recorded in the UK. Also means no need for registry office job when you get back home.

Yes, made to measure Thai Silk - the suit and silk shirt hand made less than £150!

Khao Lak - the one where 5000 died in the tsunami, hence it being quiet now! We went to a large club on xmas day night and were literally the only people in there!
