Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 13:51:23 Sorry - I know we have had another game since then but I just found my ticket stub for Bournemouth and its says on it the ticket price was £18
Im sure we were charged £22 each - only because I remember thinking - wow thats more than I pay for home games! :o ? Was it more on the day or something? Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: axs on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 13:52:27 some of the stubs had £18 on and some had £22, it was a bit random, even though they all cost £22.
Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: Luci on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 13:53:04 We couldn't buy tickets in advance for Bournemouth so only option was to purchase them on the day. I didn't look at my stub but I think it said £21 on it. I remember a few people saying theirs said £18 as well but not sure how!
Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: glos_robin on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 13:53:33 I was charged £21 so I think you were charged about right
Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 13:58:06 Thanks guys - I was just trying to work out if we had been overcharged or not but I guess we hadnt!
although I do feel £18 would have been a much fairer amount to pay - epsecially for those that went behind the goal Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: Luci on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 14:01:26 Yeah I think £18 would have far more reasonable.
Only thing I can think of is that they had 2 sets of tickets, 1 price for covered stand aka our Arkells/Kingswood and 1 price for behind goal/uncovered stand such as TE or Stratton Bank being the 3 quid cheaper but charged us all the same! Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: Spencer_White on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 14:30:57 Bournemouth were just a shambles full stop.
Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: Colin Todd on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 14:31:38 £21 was a piss take.
Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: DMR on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 14:32:17 20 quid for our main stand... 22 for theirs.
£2 big bloody deal. Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: sonic youth on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 14:39:34 people ended up paying £21 to sit behind the goal in an open end. not particularly fair?
Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: DMR on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 14:42:51 I concur. Hence the "main stand" bit.
Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: sonic youth on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 14:44:05 er, yeah but people paid to sit in the main stand and got moved
duhhhhh Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: janaage on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 14:57:31 Bournemouth are skint, fair play to them if they brought in a little extra revenue.
Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 15:18:30 yeah but I am skint and didnt wish to pay out extra revenue!
Plus its bloody full price this weekend isnt it?? Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: herthab on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 16:20:10 I had to stand behind the goal but, tbh, I probably enjoyed it more because of that.
Seeing Corrs first goal directly behind the goal was brilliant. And we could smoke at half time (Initially) Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: lebowski on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 20:48:07 and let's not forget the porta potty toilets.
well worth the admission. you pay £150 to use them at glastonbury. Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? As its a cup game, they get a share of the revenue so have a say in the pricing structure. Title: Bournemouth - Overcharged? Post by: Bushey Boy on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 22:45:23 I paid £21 to get in behind goal, loved it there as allowed to stand. The petrol down would of cost most people sharing £10 each so footys not cheap, but we do it week in week out for some silly reason.....
