Fuck off mex, film of the year.

Be warned if you are of a nervous disposition, it is quite gory in places.

Is this going to be a regular thing? Perhaps we should get Ben's drink of the week going as well?

If Ben could only have one drink a week, he'd be dead....drink of the day, or even hour, would be better....

Seriously, everybody watch this film. IMO, it is very good.

His name was Boggint's, and he was pissing into the bog of eternal stench.

My daughter being 3 years old insists on watching the same movie over and over and over, therefore I could tell you most of the whole fucking script.

Although clever daddy has also downloaded kiddy movie's such as shrek 1,2 and 3, the barn yard and so on, which are funny innit.

Atonement was very good, the pace is a little slow in parts, but still excellent. Well worth the oscar buzz imo.

Not seen NCFOM yet, hope to get around to it soon, it's been getting plenty of hype. Watched Golden Compass tonight and they've made a right pigs ear of it :(

Pans is ace, watched it a few months back.

Watched Pans Labyrinth last night, still had it in the Sky+ from when Mex originally recommended it. My missus didn't like it but I thought it was superb. She obviously doesn't appreciate good cinema when she sees it (i.e. she thinks The Devil Wears Prada was the best film ever made).

FAO Deano the fence fucker

I watched Rise of the Foot Soldier last night. I give it 7 out of 10.

Good cast, mediocre acting, plenty of footie violence, drugs, guns, knives & blood. The storyline let it down a bit for me. Don't get me wrong, it's a good solid storyline and the plot makes sense - but I just don't get why it was based on Carl as the main character.

I know it was a true story, but what the fuck did the ending have to do with him? Yeah I know it was his mates, but really why go through a whole film based on him yet do an ending based on 3 other characters?

I have a book on Essex gangsters and the plot of this film is real. Its well fucked up reading in to it. All motivated by greed. Apparently Carlton Leach is out of the essex underworld now and trying to live a normal life. Married a stripper too.
