I think hes got potential actually.  (I didn't see him Saturday just gone so Im not basing my opinion on that)

Think he needs confidence and a fair bit of work though.

He wasn't great...nor was substituting him 5 mins from half time. However bad he's doing humiliating players like that does nothing for team spirit - it should have been done at half time.

Have seen him play for the reserves 3 times but not the first tea, other than friendlies pre season and I honestly dont see anything in him that Blair Sturrock cant do and I think Blair Sturrock is a very average Division 4 player.

I dont rate KM at all.

This is very true, he cant be judged playing out of position, but to be fair I have only actually seen him play as an out and out striker and I still dont rate him.

Ditto. Out on the left in a shitty 4-5-1 formation is not where he should be.

To be fair if the lad reads this thread it's gonna do wonders for his confidence as well.

Byrne should not have taken him off before half time, stupid decision.

Jan if he is reading this then what does he expect he played shit as did the others its nothing personal just a fact . The ones who have no excuses are Byrne and williams due to the totally awful and shambolic formation and team selection .

For what it's worth the only other time i have seen him play was that friendly against shitty where he was on trial. I thought he did very well in that game.

One of my mates lads is involved in the Swindon youth set up. I asked him what he thought of Byrne 'The blokes a fucking idiot' was the response.

I've only seen him one the once but it was quite possibly the worst indiviual Swindon performance I have ever seen.

I'll give him another chance, but another game like that not only should he dropped. He should be sacked and shot!

The bloke is obviously clueless and considering the off the field antics surely some empathy is in order. OK they are pro footballer's and that but they are also poeple, and the youngsters would surely feel it more.

Even the like's of Kingy and Iffy used word's such as "we" and "Us" after shitty performance, Byrne consistently says "Them", and I think that I even heard him say "Them lot" once.

He comes over to me as the sort of bloke that if you met him in a pub one day, then you would just wanna deck him.

Ady Williams: well I just dont know. His management skills clearly don't cut it, but then this situ has rather been dumped upon him. But Byrne is without a doubt a twat and from his interviews I think that he would struggle as a manager at just about any level!!

kaid looked like some random bloke who'd won a raffle to play for us on saturday. absolutely woeful, he touched the ball half a dozen times and miscontrolled it each time. i've got a better touch than him and i've got the touch of a rapist.

nevertheless, he ought to be given a chance somewhere else other than wide left...


p.s. i really dislike byrne, i never really knew why until i've heard him interviewed. i recall him sitting next to starnes at the cheltenham game looking really smug about the abuse starnes was getting.
