Seeing the thread title I thought he was going to have died. Nice to see he's not dead and that he's won award. Not bad for a nights work.

Who won all the other gay ones. Young personality, overseas etc.?

Agreed with most of the results, but team of the year??  Sad reflection on the state of our sport if a team that were runners-up become team of the year.  Anybody any thoughts on alternatives??

I don't see why...they got to a World Cup Final. As much as you may argue that we didn't win it, how often do we actually win ANYTHING? Or even come close?

I think it's fair enough. Especially the way they tured it around after their poor start

He used to go out with a Cherhill girl for quite a while.  Seems a decent enough fella.

As for Robson, shame he wasn't treated with the same respect back when he was england boss.  Until the semi final in 1990, the bloke was treated pretty badly by the press and ex-players (Emlyn Hughes for example).

Yes, The cycling team should have won that. A team that actually excelled at World Level (and has been for some time now, making the most of Lottery funding, unlike a number of our "elite" track and field athletes )

It's difficult for me to say, but the Rugby team shouldn't have been anywhere near winning

And what was the point of Ramprakash dancing ? wasn't he last year's winner anyway ?
