Title: Shopping in Swindon
Post by: walrus on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, 21:32:24
Am coming to City game tomorrow with my girlfriend...  :?  and am going back to my old house/school for a bit of nostalgia, then into Swindon for a bit of shopping.  Sussex Red mentioned the name of a shopping centre I should visit but it has slipped my mind.  Seeing as I don't know Swindon very well (I don't think I've ever been other than to watch a football match) can anyone suggest and give me directions to good shopping in and around Swindon?

outlet village is for clothes that were £2000 now £100. Not sure why you would want to come to swindon for shopping. Its pretty aidsy

Yeh but they're designer clothes, and I'm a label-poof  8)

Surely it's worth a quick look at least?  I don't wanna have to drive ultra-slow or kill time before the Brizzle game!

Yes, it was the Outlet Village I mentioned. I've only been once but didn't buy anything, Dex is probably right as he's uber-cool 8)

You were going through your 'cheap designer gear' phase, so may have been suitable back then. Get yourself into some of the designer shops in Brighton, spend a bit of spondoolika and be the dogs of Crawley. Your chick will love the new metrosexual Walrus

I'm well into pink at the moment :?

Some lads can pull pink off...others cant... thats my opinion..but have to give credit to the lad thats sufficiently confident in his sexuality to be able to wear pink!

I don't know if I can pull it off but I'm sufficiently confident in my sexuality to wear a bit of pink!

I've given up on single mums tho, the two I encountered recently were nutters.

I've got a new plan now though - divorced early thirty's single women. It worked on Sat night and she's loaded (nice pay-off from ex-hubby) with an Audi TT to boot  :D

Since I've moved house and now got a bit of spare cash I've been out loads and been a bit of a slag tbh  :?

Da da da da da, I'm lovin it!

I'm sure Marie would tell you if you looked a complete knob in a pink top!

Good work at Southend though chap, I was at the back on the right. You were a lively bunch on a fucking cold night. I think it was you're lot anyway  :?

Unfortunately according to her I'm already a meterosexual, just because I have 11 pairs of jeans and use shaving palm, and wear concealer :|

Brighton is okay for shopping, but Covent Garden is the dog's.  Nice big Diesel store, but the prices are for people who work in Covent Garden, not Crawley  :(

Might give the outlet stores a miss then and leave a bit later.  I'm gonna have to cruise slowly down the M4 anyway as they've got those new speeding jobbies.

pink rules! my missus is getting a bit worried that i have too many tops that colour now though. shopping in the town centre is better than the outlet. go to sumos & JA's in the brunel centre. expensive but good stuff

You bunch of gays that wear pink t-shirts will look back on it in a few years and think "what the fuck was I doing?"

hmmmm, i disagree. I am alright!  It sounds like the sentiment of a bitter woman, or a devout butch lesbo.
